Look what I found!

I’m going through and cleaning stuff out in preparation for the big move to DC, and I found this:

Mrs. Maidt's fourth grade class, 1990-1991

This is the class photo of Mrs. Maidt’s class at Grimes Elementary School, 1990-1991. Fourth grade. Rogers, Arkansas. I’m in the back row wearing the purple shirt slightly to the right of the center line. You know how long it has been since I’ve seen these people? Almost fifteen years. The last time I saw most of those people was May 29, 1992 – the last day of school for my fifth grade year. We moved to Virginia during the summer of 1992, and I’ve not been back since. I also don’t know whatever happened to any of these people.

As a result, that is how I remember all of these people. I remember them as fifth graders. Little ten and eleven year olds, complete with those early-1990s hairstyles and clothes. How dated! And I don’t know where any of these people are now. I’d guess that many of these people are now married and have children of their own.

So, yeah, let’s see what else I find that’s worth noting as I get stuff packed to move.

Web site: Bonnie Grimes Elementary School, where I first learned the voice of the Wheelock 7002T...

Song: Oh, goodness... I have no music in mind!

Quote: Yeah, I have to go through about fifteen years' worth of stuff. This is fun, but it's hard.
