And for the first time, meet my netbook…

Another video Journal entry for you:

In this entry, I discuss a whole bunch of stuff. First and foremost, however, I introduce my new netbook, an HP Mini 210. I pull it out, show it off, and discuss stuff about it. Then I also discuss where the old Lappy is going, and so life is good. I also discover that AVG anti-virus has been busy, as it discovers what it claimed is malware: MSCORSVW.EXE. A quick Google search on the file name shows that it is an innocuous process made by Microsoft, but also a non-essential one. Thus I won’t be losing any sleep about the fact that AVG quarantined it.

Then otherwise, I briefly touched on the Boston Megaraid, and the fridge cleanout. Not much to say on those counts outside of what I said on camera. The Megaraid is nearing completion, and then the fridge was dusty.

And then switching Schumin Web to WordPress. Kinda scary, if you ask me, because at this point, other than installing the content system on the server, I don’t know where to start. Really. I have no clue where to even begin such an undertaking. Once I get going, I should be fine, but in the meantime, I’m kinda stuck. Help?

And lastly, I forgot to mention this in the video, but I got a new mouse pad:

New Schumin Web mouse pad

This is the current version of the mouse pad from Zazzle, and it looks really good. The color is very bold and vibrant, and represents Schumin Web well in the physical world.

Web site: The Journal entry that I am referencing and looking up in the video. This is the one.

Song: Right now, the sounds of sleep. I'm tired, and if I actually get this entry finished before passing out, I'll be doing pretty well.

Quote: So there you go, I suppose.
