This was another Kia Key prompt, taken September 22.  This was similar to the "pinch" photo, but using your arms instead of your fingers.

This photo was taken at the same time as the selfie, and it shows the ceiling.  Note the Bluetooth microphone next to the driver's visor, as well as the front reading lights.  Elyse later took to calling these "the pants", due to their shape's vaguely resembling a pair of pants.

After getting home from Stuarts Draft, the car was gross.  We had a lot of winter weather, and that left a nice layer of grime on the Soul.  A trip to the car wash was just what she needed after that, to look all shiny and new again.  After getting home from Stuarts Draft, the car was gross.  We had a lot of winter weather, and that left a nice layer of grime on the Soul.  A trip to the car wash was just what she needed after that, to look all shiny and new again.

On January 21, we had yet another snowstorm.  It didn't drop a whole lot of snow, but was enough to cover the car (always right after you get it washed!).  The first cleanup wasn't bad by any means, as I was clear following a quick brushing.  On January 21, we had yet another snowstorm.  It didn't drop a whole lot of snow, but was enough to cover the car (always right after you get it washed!).  The first cleanup wasn't bad by any means, as I was clear following a quick brushing.

On February 12, the biggest snowfall of the year began, which ended up dropping around a foot of snow.  I couldn't get a spot next to my building before the storm, so I parked across the lot.  After the snow ended, I went to work digging myself out.  On February 12, the biggest snowfall of the year began, which ended up dropping around a foot of snow.  I couldn't get a spot next to my building before the storm, so I parked across the lot.  After the snow ended, I went to work digging myself out.

I don't remember what I did to cause this, but on May 8, 2014, I had certainly slimed my tires.

June 5: cruise control.  While the Soul's control layout reminded me mostly of that of my old Toyota Previa, the cruise control's being wheel-mounted was one of the few similarities to the Sable.

On June 6, I left on a trip to Stuarts Draft.  I had some unusual cargo on this trip, as I brought my sister's old bicycle back to Stuarts Draft.  At this point, I had acquired my own bicycle, and so this one was no longer needed.

On June 22, while on a trip that took me to Westminster and Baltimore, my driver’s side window jumped its track when I closed the door.  That led to the window’s not being able to close entirely.  I just tolerated the open window issue while I was still out, and then when I got home, I put a bag over the window to keep any moisure and animals out until I could take it to a dealership the next day.  As it turned out, this was covered under warranty, so this repair didn’t cost me a thing.
