The Photo Feature was launched on the main page on March 12, 2005 as part of a main page redesign, replacing the quote article.  Images run on the main page with a description as well as the date that they were photographed.  They are run at 350×467 resolution at that location if vertical, and at 600×450 if horizontal.

On this page, images are presented thumbnail-size.  Click the thumbnail image to see the full-size image, which is presented at full resolution, and is available for download.

Notes: The circle shield is typically used to mark state routes. However, even if this was a state route instead of a US route, the circle shield is not used in Maryland, as Maryland uses a unique square marker for its state routes.
