June 1, 2003, 12:22 AM – Made a few minor fixes to the Quote Archives pages.

May 18, 2003, 5:37 AM – New "super photo essay" entitled An Urban Comparison, covering four major areas: the Washington DC area, Richmond, Norfolk, and Roanoke. This finishes the Photo Essay Blitz proper, and all that's left now is to put together the "blooper reel".

May 16, 2003, 2:54 AM – Added another eye-candy photo essay - Mountain Scenery.

May 16, 2003, 1:18 AM – Added eye-candy photo essay Monticello.

May 14, 2003, 5:38 AM – Two new photo essays! Take a look at Mill Mountain Park By Day, and Mill Mountain Park By Night.

May 13, 2003, 4:40 AM – Another new photo essay, this one about a visit to Lake Moomaw in rural Alleghany County, Virginia.

May 12, 2003, 11:41 PM – Added Norfolk Waterside Photo Essay.

May 9, 2003, 12:26 AM – A number of College Life photo sets make their return today: General Stuff Senior Year, Halloween TV Lounges, and Halloween Costumes. Additionally, some new photo sets have arrived in College Life: Snowed In!, and The Fourth Floor Suite. Also, the Scooter Races set from Sophomore Year finally reappears after more than two years' absence from The Schumin Web.

May 8, 2003, 12:49 PM – Added Potomac Hall line to the Online Store, in commemoration of my finally becoming a Potomac Hall alumnus, and not a resident or RA.

May 7, 2003, 8:08 PM – Made a small fix on The Metro of Tomorrow photo essay in regards to those sand-colored end seats.

May 1, 2003, 12:34 AM – Changed the Splash Page picture for May. Note how my feet are positioned, and how that helps one look better weight-wise...

April 25, 2003, 10:57 PM – Added new Photo Essay, entitled The Awakening at Hains Point, part of the Photo Essay Blitz.

April 25, 2003, 4:30 PM – Changed photo on main Photo Essays page from one of the Federal Reserve building in Richmond to one of some birds at the Alexandria waterfront.

April 25, 2003, 1:49 AM – Added the first of the Photo Essay Blitz features... this one is called Alexandria Waterfront.

April 24, 2003, 11:27 PM – Made a number of changes to The Metro of Tomorrow photo essay in order to correct errors made previously. These changes are substantial for the photo essay, as I incorrectly identified the new rail cars as rehabilitated Breda cars, instead of as CAF Series 5000 cars. The Schumin Web regrets the error.

April 19, 2003, 2:28 AM – The guest book for Today's Special has gotten zapped like the others. The "Guest Book" name has now been pointed at The Schumin Web Community.

April 19, 2003, 2:17 AM – For The Classic Liners of Long Ago, the old guest book is now gone. The "guest book" name, however, has been retained, but this now goes into The Schumin Web Community discussion forums, which is a better fit for how the old guest book was being used.

April 19, 2003, 1:53 AM – Removed all guest book references from A Week in England site.

April 18, 2003, 6:27 PM – Removed guest book references on Schumin Web Multimedia Central.

April 16, 2003, 8:28 AM – Due to repeated abuses, all guest books on the entire Web site have been suspended indefinitely. Anyone may view the existing guest books, but no one may post. This does not affect The Schumin Web Community discussion forums.

April 11, 2003, 12:59 AM – Added new Springtime Blossoms Photo Essay. I know that this isn't Photo Essay Blitz material (actually more recent than that!), but I foolishly promised a few people this set with a quicker turnaround than I planned...

March 30, 2003, 5:59 PM – Added new photo essay, entitled The White House in Snow.

March 30, 2003, 12:14 PM – The Web Cam Archives are now hosted with Chris-Place.com as a trade for the forums moving here.

March 27, 2003, 8:36 PMThe Schumin Web Community is now located directly on schuminweb.com, and is now powered by YaBB.

March 23, 2003, 1:04 AM – Updated Traditional, Traditional Pocket, and Salute to America designs in the Online Store. These designs now feature the site URL in blue beneath the logo, instead of red, as it was previously.

March 22, 2003, 7:47 PM – Brand new, fully redesigned Fire Alarm line in the Online Store.

March 20, 2003, 11:52 PM – Updated the Fire Alarm Collection pages with a number of things. First of all, there are new movie clips on the Wheelock 34T, 7002T, AS, NS, Simplex 4903-9425, and Gentex Commander2. Additionally, now the sound part identifies what format the file is in, and how big it is.

March 16, 2003, 3:28 PM – The Web Cam is now operational again.

March 7, 2003, 11:46 AM – The Web Cam will be going down as of 5:00 PM (or thereabouts) on Friday, March 7, and will not be reactivated until Sunday, March 16, due to Spring Break.

March 6, 2003, 1:55 AM – Changed all the ads on Schumin Web from "support" ads to new Almond Street banner advertisements.

March 3, 2003, 5:18 PM – Corrected year issue in Christmas 2000 Photo Essay. The full images now load correctly.

March 1, 2003, 6:04 PM – Finally changed the copyright notice on all the pages to reflect the current year, 2003.

March 1, 2003, 6:19 AM – Changed the splash page picture to what I describe as my "God-fearing" picture.

February 23, 2003, 12:42 AM – Renovations to the Online Store are now complete. Significant changes were made to "Product Specifications", some pictures were moved around, and the menu was completely updated.

February 21, 2003, 1:41 AM – Orders in the Online Store now post to the CafeShops.com server. Actual noticeable changes on the storefront are minimal. The Shopping Cart page looks different now, being simpler in its design.

February 20, 2003, 11:51 PM – Began process of converting the Online Store to a CafePress premium store. Database powering the storefront on Schumin Web has been converted to the new premium store products. Actual noticeable changes at this point are minimal.

February 17, 2003, 11:00 PM – Added November, December, and January pages to the Web Cam Archives.

February 16, 2003, 1:36 AM – Made various updates throughout the site, removing StratoSearch references and replacing them with references to Almond Street. Additionally, the Almond Street Web site is now complete, and has been launched.

February 12, 2003, 2:54 PM – Tile Boxes have been removed from the Online Store due to being out of stock.

February 2, 2003, 9:15 PM – Added The Sprinkler Disaster to College Life under Senior Year.

February 2, 2003, 1:19 AM – All menus on The Schumin Web are now powered by a database. This is the permanent solution to the Metropolitan Advertising bug as previously mentioned. Additionally, there is now an Alternate Navigation page providing text links to all pages within the site, also powered by the new database.

February 1, 2003, 1:49 PM – Changed the Splash Page picture to one of me posing with the James Madison statue at JMU.

January 31, 2003, 9:53 PM – The Photo Essay A Snapshot of Metropolitan Advertising was discovered to have been accidentally removed from the menu! For now, you can use this link to get there, and then a permanent fix will be implemented this weekend when the navigation menus are upgraded to be powered by a database. Additionally, on the Photo Essay The Metro of Tomorrow, there were no database entries powering the large images. This has now been fixed, and the large images for this photo essay are now functional.

January 25, 2003, 12:30 PM – Updated the Fire Alarm Collection pages. The manufacturer names now display better in the headings, plus I generally updated certain alarm descriptions.

January 20, 2003, 11:19 PM – Added all kinds of new merchandise to the Online Store: Women's T-Shirts, Panties, Camisoles, Night Shirts, Toddler Hoodies, Tile Boxes, Rectangular and Oval Stickers, and Bumper Stickers.

January 14, 2003, 7:57 PM – Finally added the sounds for the Cerberus Pyrotronics MTL-S15-S multitone horn/strobe to the Fire Alarm Collection pages.
