“I’ll take some desert without any sand…”
The quote today comes from a Popeye cartoon where Popeye meets Ali-Baba. Popeye and Olive were in an Arab restaurant, and Popeye couldn’t read the menu (different language). So Popeye just ordered. What did he order? He said, “I’ll take some desert without any sand.” Don’t ask me why, but for some reason, when it became quote-thinking time, this was what popped into my head. I think I’ve had stranger quotes here before, though…
