Did you ever watch Press Your Luck back in the 80s? If you did, then you’ll recognize this quote, as well as this guy to the right, which everyone at home thought was always funny to watch but knew was a tragedy, and who was a real tragedy for the contestants. Who am I speaking of? The dreaded Whammy. Land on a Whammy, and lose all your cash and prizes. And this is not like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, either, where you have those guaranteed money spots, either. You lose everything, you lose it all. And four Whammies and you’re out of the game. Just like that. Still, I hope that one day, they will revive this show, so I can get on it. I can see myself now… “NO WHAMMIES… STOP!”
