This advertisement for Blue Cross just struck me as funny.

It’s subtle, but here goes. The ad shows the guy wearing the pants and the suspenders standing there next to a guy wearing the same kind of pants and shoes, but also wearing a giant horse’s head. This means that the other person is the back end of the horse. In other words, you can lend a hand, but it means you can be a real horse’s ass in the process.

And yes, I know what it’s like to be a horse’s patoot. My father is always quick to point out when I’m acting like one.

Was it the ad designer’s intention to advertise being a horse’s ass? Probably not. But nonetheless, it struck me as funny in that unintentionally-funny kind of way…
