The Iwo Jima MemorialThe Iwo Jima Memorial is a symbol of the accomplishments of American forces throughout the different wars that our country has fought. The specific scene dates from World War II, where the flag was raised on Iwo Jima. The Iwo Jima memorial is located in Arlington, Virginia's Rosslyn neighborhood, just outside Washington DC.
