Wal-Mart

On June 8, I got a digital camera (the original Mavica) from Staples in Staunton.  In learning the camera, I decided to take it to Wal-Mart when my mother and my sister went the next day.  What we did is we all came in as a group, went with Mom to the Service Desk, and then Sis and I went to get her junk food (she was having a movie day on Saturday), and met back up with Mom.  We then all went to electronics, the personal care section (Health/Beauty), and then on out.  All in all, a neat trip.

One thing to note - we are not the junk-food junkies that we would otherwise appear to be based on this Wal-Mart visit.  Sis had a movie day the next day, and so this junk food was for them...  Also please note that these are not staged photos (I promise!).

After a quick stop at the service desk for Mom to return some shirts (too big), while Mom went out to get shirts, Sis and I went to get her movie food.

"I'm sure they'll like some Doritos!"

"Fritos or no Fritos?  I'll have to come back to it."

"I think a little caffeine will make my friends happy..."

"Ah, heck.  Let's get the Fritos!"

And this is what happens when you don't maintain your arch of Styrofoam containers.  I was at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago, and this arch was as it should be.  I have always thought about how funny it would be to see this arch collapse...

"Hmmm..." I say.  "Bug remover washer fluid.  I wonder how well this stuff works..."

"Hey, Ben, have you seen this movie?  It's good."

"Green soap or blue soap?  Decisions, decisions, decisions..."

"We certainly do have a lot of stuff!"

"Am I healthy or am I healthy?"

"Yep... I'm healthy!"

"Do we have less than 20 items?"

"That couldn't be!"

"Ben, why are they talking about you in here?"

"You'd think we love junk food by the looks of our purchases today!"

"Well, that's why the thing wouldn't take the dollar!  That can's leaking in the dollar feeder!"

"Well, then... coins it is!"

"All right... you hold the cart, and I'll load the car!"

"Ben, you're in the way."

"Returned the cart, and so home we go!"
