Splash Page Archives

In August 2002, when I launched what I call my "minimalist" site design, I also redesigned the splash page - that page that you see right when you first enter the site.  Before the 2002 redesign, the splash page never changed.  Back then, the logo took center stage, really large.  After that redesign, now the logo was more moderately-sized, and there was a big picture of me, which I change monthly.  Here, these are the pages that have graced The Schumin Web's splash page from its introduction to now.  Click the small images to see the full-size images as they appeared on the splash page.

For these positioning runs, I pack the car ahead of time, and then drive to the Vienna Metro station and leave the car there overnight. Then I take Metro back to Glenmont. Then the next day, I go to work like always, and then rather than go back to Glenmont after work, I go to Vienna, pick up the car, and then leave for Stuarts Draft right from there.
