Thank you for choosing to contact me, Ben Schumin, owner and Webmaster of The Schumin Web and such.  While contacting me, please remember to act your age and not your shoe size.  Do so, and we'll get along just fine.  Failure to do so will result in the end of the conversation, and possibly the blocking of further contact activity from your address to me.

Before contacting me, please make sure to read the Frequently Asked Questions that accompany this page.  If your query is already answered in the FAQ, you may not receive a reply.  If you are inquiring about reusing original material found on The Schumin Web, please read the page about reusing content first.

If you are attempting to contact me about an issue regarding Wikipedia, please do so on my Wikipedia talk page.  The Schumin Web, instant messenger, and Email are not appropriate places for Wikipedia-related discussion. If you message me regarding Wikipedia through this venue, you will receive no response.

Facebook

Probably the best way to get a hold of me directly is through the social networking site Facebook.  Go to my Facebook profile, and drop me a message there.  I check Facebook far more than I check my Email, and so you are more likely to get a quick response if you send it through Facebook.

If you are a fan of the site, and wish to register your support, go to The Schumin Web's Facebook page and become a fan.  This will also give you updates on your Facebook wall whenever I add a new feature to the site.

For users of Yahoo! Messenger, my Yahoo ID is schuminweb.

Additionally, if I'm not online when you want to IM me, send me an instant message through my cell phone!  My cell phone has a dedicated AOL Instant Messenger screen name: Schumin Wireless.  Use this toolbar to reach me there...

Note that since it is a cell phone and not a computer, my responses may be slow, and I may not respond at all, depending on what I'm doing.  If I'm driving, for instance, I'm obviously not going to respond to you.  But give me a try nonetheless.  Tip: Use it like an answering machine when I'm out.  Often times, if I'm out, my regular AIM away message will reference this screen name.
